HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) - Reentry Reform Day is taking place in Hartford on Wednesday.
The annual day is an effort to help ease the transition from prison back into society. The goal is to create a system that protects the dignity of those convicted of crimes.
Citizens and lawmakers will discuss how to successfully help re-enter residents into the community by removing unnecessary barriers.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesday in Hartford.
